Highland Park Garden Walk
Walk behind the scenes - literally - into the verdant backyard gardens and green spaces of Highland Park/Fort Hill. View a rich profusion of flowers, visit the Garden Girl's farm, stroll through an orchard, and visit community gardens and prize winners from the Mayor's annual garden competition. The tour is led by the aptly-named Tom Plant, Director of Special Projects in the Environmental Health Office of the Boston Public Health Commission.
Like the gardens, this tour happens rain or shine. Be sure to wear sturdy, comfortable shoes for walking up and down irregular ground.
