Playback Theater presents: Celebrating Our Shadows, Celebrating Our Light, 7:30pm
Shadow and light, love and hate, confidence and fear we humans are complex beings with complex emotions. We are full of contradictions and paradox, and surprisingly, it is this very thing that makes us whole. In honor of this truth, Portland Playback Theater welcomes you to explore your light and shadow in our upcoming show.
Our shadows often reveal to us our greatest wants and gifts, as our light shows our passion and confidence. We want to explore this with you, the audience, by hearing your own stories that celebrate all that makes up who you are those times where you have shone bright and those times when you have not. As you share those parts of yourself with us, the Playback Troupe, we hold your story sacred and with respect, reverence and good humor, we will enact your story back to you and in the process hopefully reveal to you something about your own experience. Playback Theater is all about YOUR story and we invite you to join the community and explore this topic with artistry, trust, play and respect. Let's see what can be created together!
