Truth and Beauty Workshop
Having the ability to create improv that is honest and vulnerable adds another layer to your work, a little bit of cake underneath your frosting to take your work from light entertainment to something with resonance. In this workshop, we start with your true self as a completely valid and powerful launchpad to creating original improvisation. This class includes exercises adapted from traditional American theater technique and scene study that helps improvisation grow closer to having the impact and quality of traditional scripted theatre. The workshop also includes some clown technique to soften focus and remove self-judgement. The application to your work will be a fearlessness and patience regarding vulnerability and silence.
