Anatomy in Focus - Muscles of the Knee
Join the Anatomy in Clay Centers in exploring human anatomy in three-dimensions! In this four-hour workshop, you will learn about the knee by building its anatomy out of clay, and through exploring the anatomy of your own body.
Whether it has been decades since your last science class, or you need to know anatomy for your professional career, this workshop is for you! Instructors Amy Anderson and Gregory Gonzales begin the workshop with an introduction to anatomy terms and concepts. Starting with a scale model of the skeleton, you will identify where the muscles points attach to the bone, and use clay to form the muscles on the model.
After building the anatomy out of clay, you get the opportunity to identify and engage the anatomy within your own body as the class is led through a series of Pilates-based movements.

Cancellation Policy:
The entire workshop amount paid may be refunded or applied to another workshop if registrant cancels at least seven days before the date of the workshop. Cancellations within seven days of the workshop may only be applied to another future workshop.
Anatomy in Clay Centers reserves the right to cancel workshops due to circumstances beyond our control or when enrollment is deemed insufficient. In this event, all deposits, tuitions and fees will be refunded. Anatomy in Clay Centers cannot be responsible for workshops, or portions of workshops that registrant or participants miss due to illness, emergency, or other events beyond the control of the Center. Anatomy in Clay Centers cannot be responsible for losses incurred by any registrant due to airline fares or other travel arrangements in the event that the workshop must be canceled or postponed. Travel insurance is strongly recommended.
