Event
Pysanky
Pysanka means "to write" as the designs formed with traditional folk patterns using a beeswax resist and the batik method are written on the surface of eggs. This is an intergenerational class. During the first session adults will learn egg decorating basics and in the second session kids (8 years old and up) are invited to join and learn the process also. Adults are encouraged to bring their design ideas and work with kids to create a multitude of brightly colored decorative eggs. This is a two day class held on Saturday, January 17 and Sunday, January 18 from 1pm to 3pm.
