Event
The Liberal Mrs. Price
Set in 1968, the storyline deals with how two women of different racial and socio-economic backgroungs cope with Dr. King's death: One is a white liberal employer, who fancies herself âa dreamerâ like Dr. King, and the other, her longtime maid. The play has a definite basis of truth as it covers the civil and political division that existed between the races in Memphis and the rest of the nation during that period. The two-character play features seasoned actresses Mimmye Goode and Naomi Moody, who, combined, have major performing credits in theatre, movies, television, commercials, abroad, and on Broadway.
