Overboard -- A Cappella at the me and thee! (None of the Above opens!)
Having elevated itself far beyond its humble street performing roots, Boston vocal band Overboard can be heard serving up its high-powered, soul-infused vocal rock from Maine to California and beyond.
Begun in 2006, Overboard has grown far beyond its beginnings. Since its inception, the band has been featured entertainment for the likes of American Idol, PUMA and Mitsubishi, as well as on The CBS Early Show.
Overboard's energetic live show, 6 albums and "Free Track Tuesday" single of the week program have caught the attention of the global a cappella community, as well as Boston's discerning local music scene. Among other accolades, Overboard has been nominated for 10 Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards and 18 A Cappella Community Awards in the last three years.
Following their win at the competitive Boston Regional Harmony Sweepstakes Festival, Overboard began touring more frequently, visiting colleges, performing arts centers and music festivals throughout the country to share its tight harmonies, intricate arrangements and engaging workshops with singers and enthusiasts of all ages.

Celebrating 10+ years of music-making and camaraderie, None of the Above (NOTA) is an a cappella octet performing an eclectic mix of early polyphony, cutting-edge modern harmony, familiar folk songs, uplifting spirituals, catchy pop tunes, and lush jazz standards. Based in Wellesley, MA, NOTA has performed all over New England at coffeehouses, libraries, churches and other aca-friendly performance spaces. We have won multiple cultural council grant awards in Natick and Wellesley, MA for our diverse programming including our annual showcase concert, Spring Fev-ah. In 2009, NOTA took third place at Boston Regional Harmony Sweeps. Our wildly popular inaugural CD, "multiple choice" (2012), is now in its second printing. None of the Above was selected to compete on WGBH's TV show "Sing that Thing" and it will air in 2015.
