Master color by understanding color theory and learn to:
-quickly choose the correct color for mixes by knowing the undertone.
- draw with a brush
- use a pencil sketch to enhance details
Texture techniques:
- layering, salt, striking, tissue, sponge, water soluble pencils and a water brush.
Cathy Carey was born in Washington, DC. and educated at the Corcoran School of Art in Washington DC, and received her BFA in Painting from Virginia Commonwealth University.
