A Streetcar Named Desire
What happens when life loses its passion, its excitement, its joie de vivre? What (or who) do we turn to when adulthood hits us in the face and life stops being fun and becomes more about responsibility and duty? A Streetcar Named Desire attempts to hold the mirror up to nature by examining this question through the eyes of its three main characters. Stanley, Stella, and Blanche try their best to hold onto anything that floats as they are drowning in the seas of a disappointing life. How will they escape? This play deals with mature themes and content, but the hope is that audiences will leave changed and with a new ability to find appreciation in the small things life has to offer.
