MEN THINK THEY ARE BETTER THAN GRASS

Inspired by the beauty and fragility of the natural world and W. S. Merwin's poetry (from which it takes its title), the world premiere of Men Think They Are Better Than Grass explores the interrelationship between humanity and the environment. Conceived by Deborah Slater and co-directed by Deborah Slater & Jayne Wenger, Men Think...incorporates dance, text, visual design, an original score and video. Celebrating 20 years of stunning, theatrically innovative work, DSDT's reciprocity between art, technology, and the stage is at the heart of Men Think...and will shape the creative process and performance experience for artists and audiences alike. Men Think...features celebrity readers including Michael Krasny, Bob Ernst, Brenda Wong Aoki, Ellen Sebastian Chang and more!
