Event
Honoring the Boyets
On Wednesday, April 21st from 5:30-7 pm the Napa County Historical Society will honor two of Napa's most involved citizens: the dynamic duo of Mary Ellen & George Boyet. The Society will host a reception in their honor at the Society's headquarters, the Goodman Library Building at 1219 First Street in downtown Napa. How do you know the Boyets? Maybe you attend the pocket opera with them, or play bocce ball or travel to far off lands, are involved in the Society or Napa County Landmarks, or they may have been your teacher at the high school or college. However you know them, you know they are two of a kind and a true value to our community, so join us and raise a glass to George & Mary Ellen! The reception is open to the public and costs $20 per person. RSVP to Kristie at director@napahistory.org by April 10th. For more information visit http://www.napahistory.org or call 707-224-1739. The Napa County Historical Society is Napa County's preeminent research facility for local history, and the Goodman Library is the oldest continuously operating library facility in California. The Society is supported greatly by membership dues and donations. Save our local history by making a donation today at www.napahistory.org.
