The Vagina Monologues
The play is the cornerstone of Ensler's V-Day movement, whose participants have staged benefit performances of the show worldwide each year since 1998 between February 1st and March 31st. The "V" in V-Day stands for Valentine, Vagina, and Victory, linking love and respect for women to ending violence against women and girls.
THE VAGINA MONOLOGUES (performance) The award-winning play is based on V-Day Founder/playwright Eve Ensler's interviews with more than 200 women. With humor and grace the piece celebrates womem's sexuality and strength.
