A new play play based on the lives of ordinary people with the
Old Stone House in Brooklyn as the setting in three eras of American patriots:
the American Revolution, World War II, and the war in Iraq.

The history of a spy is hard to tell.
If a spy is good, she might leave no clues.
There are other jobs like that, which seem to be done by an invisible hand.

Elemental Woman
Now a free woman of color (and a property owner),
she departs from Louisiana and the plaçage system arriving in Brooklyn
to find her brother who left Saint-Domingue to fight on the side of the Americans.
