To PETER MULVEY, there is no such thing as a straight and narrow path. At least, not one that he has any interest in taking.
A live-wire on any stage, Peter is an acoustic singer/songwriter/guitarist who, in fact, defies this categorization. CHRIS PORTERFIELD says he is midwestern to the core and we find no fault with that kind of core. Chris Milwaukee-based band, Field Report (an anagram of his surname) will release their third album soon. Field Report was culled together in the studio while recording their 2012 self-titled debut. They suddenly found themselves championed by their former idols: offered support tours by Counting Crows and Aimee Mann, lauded by the likes of Mark Eitzel and Richard Thompson, and covered by Blind Boys Of Alabama.
Chicago-based Welsh exile singer-guitarist JON LANGFORD of the Mekons has an extensive catalog of songs-folk-country-punk- from all the eras, genres, bands and projects that have made up his (not so) sorry career in unpopular music. He is also a talented artist and teller of tall tales.
