The Peninsula Women's Chorus invites you to a very exciting 2014-2015 season!

We bring you music from North, Central, and South American composers in three concerts depicting the changing of seasons, phases of nature, and music from cultures throughout the continent. The songs that we will perform are exquisitely rich in a flavor that is uniquely American.

Our celebration of this great body of repertoire culminates with our tour to Argentina in the summer of 2015! We will share a fascinatingly broad palette of music in Buenos Aires, Mendoza, and at the International Choral Festival in San Juan, against the backdrop of the majestic Andes Mountains. We are delighted to share this music with you before the tour!

Program Highlights: The exquisite Nigra Sum by Pablo Casals; selections by revered Estonian composer Veljo Tormis; the unique and joyous There is no Rose by Joshua Himes; Tomorrow Shall Be My Dancing Day arranged by John Rutter, and the serene and beautiful Stille Nacht.

New Music For Treble Voices Festival 2015
Celebrating its eighth year, this exciting choral festival features the Bay Area's finest treble choirs. We are delighted to announce that this year's event will also include Vox Femina from Los Angeles, conducted by Iris Levine, in an exchange that will culminate in PWC's visit to them in the spring of 2016. Please join us for this dynamic afternoon of music-making!

"Healing River" - Spring 2015
Join us for our cavalcade of American and Latin American music as we prepare for our tour to Argentina in the summer of 2015! Hear the music we will be showcasing in the tour performances, and help us celebrate the arrival of a new CD, Mostly Made in America, a homage to the heritage and music of the Americas.
