Joyful! Noise Presents... On Our Way Home
Coming home at Christmas means a return to the heart, a return to the memories that shaped us, a return to the possibilities of making a new and better future while honoring the past. In this concert, we celebrate being wherever home is at Christmas.
Youll be travelling Homeward Bound, as sung by the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, be reminded of Elvis singing Santa, Bring My Baby Back to Me, and asking, like Charles Brown did in 1960, your baby to Please Come Home for Christmas.
We are also very excited to premiere a new work by Cornish College of the Arts student composer, Ben Markin, the prize-winner in our recent Student Choral Composition Competition. Come join us in celebration of this new work, a setting of Robert Frosts poem, Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening, and of all the songs that celebrate our eternal journey home.
