Unmasking Domestic Violence Masquerade Fundraiser
This Masquerade Fundraiser event focuses on domestic violence awareness at both the national and local level and the impact on women, children, and families. Several members within the New Jersey community will be awarded for their courageous effort in helping women wither the storm.
Guest Honoree Ms. Mildred D. Muhammad will be awarded for her life-time achievement in making a difference to domestic violence victims. Ms. Muhammad is a Domestic Abuse Survivor, Author, CNN Contributor, Certified Consultant w/Office on Victims of Crime, Humanitarian, Certified Domestic Violence Advocate, Trainer/Educator and has been on Oprah, Tyra Banks show, Larry King Live, Anderson, Katie Couric, MSNBC, BBC, CNN, Fox News and CBS News.
Ms. Muhammad is the Ex-Wife of the DC Sniper
This is a black tie event. Masks, wine and food will be served.
