A pioneer of Free Jazz in the Northeast, and founding member of legendary Boston free jazz ensemble The Fringe, George Garzone has influenced thousands of players and has performed for hundreds of thousands of fans worldwide.
Of Garzone, Frank Alkyer for Downbeat Magazine wrote: "Theres an easy beauty in the music of George Garzone. He is a saxophonist of monstrous chops and equally monstrous taste."
Garzone is also featured in the October 2016 issue of Downbeat Magazine, for his contributions to the genre, and his successful 3+ decade academic tenure at Berklee College of Music.
George is joined by Marty Richards (drums) and David Zinno (bass).
