The Fremont Abbey Arts Center is a new non-profit community commons providing an ever growing variety of arts & cultural experiences, educational workshops, classes, meetings, and more. "The Abbey" as it's commonly referred to, is a brick church building built in 1914 at 43rd & Fremont Avenue North in Seattle. We are a non-religious non-profit 501(c)3 arts organization founded in 2002 but really became active in 2007 with a grant from the City of Seattle. The building is slowly being renovated throughout 2007 but is generally available. We are just uphill from "the center of the universe" and the Abbey is available for private rentals, community meetings, benefits and more.
