Performance by Emerging Teen Artists

Across the River Arts in partnership with Interagency Academy, the Fremont Abbey Arts Center, and Seattle Art Museum presents emerging teen artists exploring the theme of Breaking Free. This one night showcase is curated by members of the Expressive Arts
Class at the University District Youth Center.  Breaking Free features a wide variety of original works by innovative local teen performers ready to extend their reach. Spoken word artists, musicians, and every style in between will make up this special show, giving the community an opportunity to meet these talented individuals and experience their captivating work.

Performers include: Cello X, Amy Wisegarver, Ella Anderson and Tulia Cascioppo, Madolyn Laurine and Max Boone, Amy Hall, Jadyn Estrada, Exapsos, and the PROGRAM at eXit SPACE!

This show is sponsored by the Office of Arts and Culture Seattle. Release also includes an additional component of visual art by local teens on display in the free Community Corridor of the Seattle Art Museum from July 1-Aug 3rd. This visual arts display is also curated by members of the Expressive Arts Class.

No one will be turned away for lack of funds. All are welcome.
