Ode to exhalation and a spark is a new collaborative dance work by project29 | Kenaniah Bystrom & Victoria McConnell with music by The Gundersen Family. An exploration and experience, the audience is invited in to the joys and trials of heritage and faith rituals that are a part of western culture. Breath, poetry, and the lighting and extinguishing of candles weave the story. Through the course of the piece the performers become a collage of community, disillusionment and a returning to the truth of breath/oxygen
