Under the Same Sun Film Screening and Discussion
In a classic "what if" situation, Under the Same Sun chronicles the unusual partnership between two businessmenone Israeli, and the other Palestinian, who defy convention
and try to launch a solar power company that can be of mutual benefit, while also providing a much-needed service to a community. Both come from societies where there is strong opposition to cooperating with the other, and the film tells how they overcome hostility from within their own families and from the people around them.
Isaac Zablocki, director of the Israel Film Center returns to GRJC to discuss the fictions and realities in this film.
