MAHOGANY @ THE MUSEUM #3. A Night of Poetry, Live Music and MORE. Hosted by Joel Fluent Greene
Join us, FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28th @ Detroit's beautiful Charles H. Wright Museum for MAHOGANY @ THE MUSEUM #3: A Night of Poetry, Live Music, Art and More!

Now that we are a MONTHLY EVENT, time to get down to business with a night of supreme poetry and great music. The show is being held the day after Thanksgiving! You know we gotta go all out for the holidays! We're anticipating one of our most packed shows YET so arrive early for best seating!

Cafe Mahogany closed years ago but it's memory and spirit are just as strong as ever. It was a home for poets, students, everyday Detroiter's and professionals to meet up on a common ground. It was a coffee shop...a stage...a HOME. From our cities greats to internationally known stars, Mahogany held a million beautiful moments. Come be a part of the Mahogany family and experience the fun!

Hosted by Joel Fluent Greene (3 year host at Mahogany) and featuring live music by the Mike Monford Trio, the evening will feature some of the best talent our city has to offer. Poetry will blend seamlessly with music and art will be everywhere.

Local favorites in spoken word and live music, out of town guests, surprise performers and a Detroit based vendors marketplace are just a few of the highlights. There will also be a full bar and plenty of seating. What more could you want? SEE YOU THERE!
