The Johnny Showcase Halloween Freak-Freak
This Halloween, in the bowels of the Italian Market, the funkiest and sexiest dance party in town is going down. Johnny Showcase & the Mystic Ticket are returning home to Connie's Ric Rac to dress up as themselves, but sexy versions of themselves, you know? Dig the nasty sounds of PCX, and stay after to let Josh Hey rock deep you into the harvest moon.

Johnny Showcase is an electrifying experience. An 8-piece absurdist soul outfit based in Philadelphia, it is an innovative, joyful tour-de-force that blissfully toes the line between performance art and a psychedelic soul revival. Carrying the torch of our funk-rock pioneers, they have gained a massive following and propelled Johnny to something that of a funky Philly folk hero legend.
Johnny Showcase is a sweaty, charismatic showman from Rhode Island who is equal parts Andy Kaufman and Prince. Surrounding him is a rag tag group of performers, including spiritual adviser Rumi Kitchen, two vacuous vocalists collectively named The Truth, and knife sharp backing band the Mystic Ticket.

PCX
Producer/DJ Swarvy and drummer Ryan McKenney are PCX. After touring the east coast several times as a guitar/drum duo, they refined their sound replacing the strings with the silky keys of the Rhodes. Their music is a sort of traveling laboratory with field trips journeying through jazz, funk, hip-hop and electronic genres.
They prefer to play with on a full stomach under ambient lighting.
Josh Hey
Josh Hey is Producer/DJ with a knack for bridging unlikely worlds. His sound is a sort of hodgepodge with nods to hip-hop and the oldies, steeped in 40 ounces of Old English and a dash of the world's finest baby making tunes. The result is a brazen and colorful mind bending twist between classic vibes and elsewhere.
Josh was recently named one of Mountain Dew's 15 Best DJs to Stream on Soundcloud.
