Jazz, Blues, and the Spirit
St. Francis Episcopal Church celebrates its 50th Anniversary with a very special concert:
"Mass in Blue" by Will Todd, music by Duke Ellington and others
Featuring the St. Francis choir, PING ensemble from St. Mary's College of Maryland, and the Difficult Run Jazz Band
Conducted by Larry E. Vote
Guest soloists include Lena Seikaly, mezzo soprano, and Scott Wood, trumpet, conductor and artistic director of Amadeus orchestra
Reception to follow.
Doors will open at 7 pm. Performance begins at 7:30 pm.
