Opening Doors
Our first annual fall concert, Opening Doors, features this season's highlighted artists including Laurana Wong, Shonna Hickman-Matlock, Sandy Bashaw, Erin Long Robbins, Denise Miller, Marcia Pittman, Taiesha Green, Kelly Dailey and Quiterie Gianina-Gabrielle.
Women and Dance in Dayton, Ohio celebrates women dance artists and women artists who collaborate with dancers in the Dayton, Ohio area.

A Little About Us, Our Interviews and the Making of Our Upcoming Documentary Film:
Women and Dance celebrates women dance artists in the Dayton, Ohio area and is supported by amazing volunteers and media artists. As we grow, the geographic scope of the artists we collaborate with will also grow. Women and Dance is particularly interested in presenting, not the just work of the artists, but also in sharing their motivations, inspirations and philosophies. We want to tell their stories.
We are interviewing a host of amazing women dance artists, musicians, and even some men, to produce a documentary film which provides a window into the life and work of a host of women artists including Laurana Wong, Sandy Bashaw and Denise Miller. Our written interviews, which precede the film, have already been seen through to publishing for Erin Long Robbins, Kelly Dailey and Marcia Pittman. We are looking forward to sharing more written interviews: Shonna Hickman-Matlock, Denise Miller, Sheri "Sparkle" Williams, Taiesha Green, Sandy Bashaw, Renee McClendon, Sharon Leahy, Laurana Wong and Qui Gianina-Gabrielle.
