Oswego Beats & Eats 2014
Oswego Beats & Eats 2nd annual all day, outdoor concert featuring Gourmet Food Trucks, local specialties, Craft Brews, melded with 10 buzz worthy bands/artists all sure to thrill and excite. A balance between world class nationally recognized musicians and indie up-and-comers, the festival organizers hope to produce an event for all ages to enjoy. There will be musical entertainment on two stages, over the span of 10 hours.
We will be hosting Food Network Host, Ben Vaughn. FYI Network Culinary Personality, World Food Championship Host and Author of Southern Routes. He will be providing tastings to the VIP tent and presenting our best vendor with a Golden ticket to the World Food Championship.
Proceeds of this festival will reach several worthy causes such as, Chicago Bears Care and the Kendall County Food Pantry. Proceeds will also fund The Beat & Eats Culinary/Musician Scholarship.
Our triple headliners are diverse and all have a national following.
Saints of Valory- a national touring band that have opened for AWOLNATION at Taste of Chicago and touring this summer with O.A.R. and Phillip Phillips.
Green River Ordinance- Command a huge presence throughout the South and Midwest.
Barcelona- Currently on a nationwide tour opening for The Fray.
nelo- Hails from Austin with a soulful sound you can definitely groove to.
Marina City- Hail from Plainfield & packing all the fun and energy they brought last year and we are so excited they are returning!
Vintage Blue- Local Chicago band pumping out great rock-n-roll with all they've got. Sure to be a favorite!
These Wild Plains- Boston area band on the rise. These guys have a great sound and bring a great vibe for movin' and groovin'.
KIINGS- Great Indie Underground band billed as a "Future Soul" band. Currently preparing their album.
Shirley King- Daughter of the Blues (BB Kings daughter), she will be bringing the house down!
The Novel Ideas- Country Folk Band that brings a soulful groove to the stage. Sure to be a favorite.
Raffle entry for prizes for each ticket purchased!!! This event is rain or shine.
Ticket sales are non-refundable.
Children 12 & under FREE admission.
Wristbands will be issued at entry if you are 21 and over and intend to consume alcohol. No alcohol will be served to anyone without a wristband.
