Morrie Warshawski works with nonprofits and filmmakers that are having difficulty realizing their full potential. He was the Executive Director of two media arts centers (Bay Area Video Coalition and The Media Project). He has served on numerous grant panels, as a film festival judge internationally, and consulted with dozens of independent filmmakers on career and fundraising issues. Warshawski is the author of many articles, and of two books on fundraising, Shaking The Money Tree: The Art of Getting Grants And Donations For Film And Video- 3rd Edition (Wiese Books, LA), and The Fundraising Houseparty: How to Party With a Purpose and Raise Money for Your Cause -2nd Edition. Leah Warshawski is a Seattle-based producer/director specializing in documentary storytelling around the globe mainly for commercials, branded entertainment, reality shows, and documentaries. She has worked for major television networks on shows including "Lost" and "Hawaii", and has filmed in more than 30 countries. Her directorial debut documentary "Finding Hillywood" (2013) is currently screening at festivals and has won six awards since its premiere, including the Critic's Award (Sebastopol Documentary Festival) and the Audience Award (Napa Film Festival). Leah is also the co-founder of rwandafilm.org, an outreach and job site created in 2012 in partnership with Bpeace (Business Council for Peace) and the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences. Her next documentary feature "Big Sonia" (www.bigsonia.com) is currently in production.
