"The German Doctor" - NCJF's Jewishfilm.2014
Screening at West Newton Cinema
NEW ENGLAND PREMIERE Sneak Preview
In 1960 against the breathtaking scenery of Patagonia, an Argentinean family serendipitously crosses paths with a revered but dangerous German doctor (Àlex Brendemühl) who ingratiates himself into their lives. Lucia Puenzo's subtle drama, adapted from her novel, gradually reveals the darkness in the doctor's character and in Argentina's absorption of Nazi criminals.
