Autumnal Equinox Restorative Yoga Soundbath at Heal Thyself Atlanta

Please join us for a special Autumnal Equinox Soundbath at Heal Thyself Atlanta. Autumn is a wonderful time to turn within and nourish our bodies and minds as we welcome cooler temperatures and the beauty of this beloved season. Brittany will guide you through a series of gentle restorative yoga poses, while Jennifer's crystal bowls bathe you in harmonic vibrations. This practice will soothe your nervous system, quiet your mind, and invite you to relax deeply held tension. Appropriate for all levels.

Jennifer Proctor is an Atlanta based massage and energy therapist, sound healer, and student of shamanism. She has been studying the therapeutic benefits of sound since 2011 and is an active member of The International Sound Therapy Association (ISTA). In 2013, she founded twilight reveille, a sacred sound orchestra. At the 10th Anniversary Cymatics Conference in 2015, twilight reveille was honored to receive a Healing Sound Ambassador Award for their contribution to the field. Playing the quartz crystal singing bowls, she conducts a weekly meditation at Self Discovery Center and provides live soundscapes for dance performances, yoga classes and other special events throughout the year, as well as providing individual therapeutic sessions. She has taught An Introduction to Crystal Bowls for ISTA and has presented workshops at Chantlanta 2016 & 2017, Wigwam Wellness Festival, Something Fresh Fest, and Dirty South Yoga Fest. Brittany Wilkerson (RYT 500) is the founder of www.wildfloweryogaATL.com, which specializes in serving the entertainment and creative industries in Atlanta. She feels a great sense of joy in sharing Restorative Yoga with people from all walks of life and bringing an essence of ease and effortlessness to our overworked and overstimulated culture. Her hope is that through your yoga practice, you can locate your truest expression, healing, and joy, and find your way "home". Brittany's background inlcudes 8 years of teaching across the country and certification at the 500 hour level through Annie Carpenter's Smartflow mentorship and Liberation Yoga in Los Angeles..
