GENEVIEVE HEYWARD at Door County Makers Space
At a time in her life when most of her peers are worried about prom and parties and fraught with teenage anxieties, Genevieve Heyward was pushing toward her future. Opening for Grammy winners and sharing the stage with national performers who have written songs for some of the biggest names in music. She cut her teeth winning vocal competitions and participating in the Steel Bridge Songfest, playing to crowds in the thousands by the age of 16.
In her senior year of high school, Genevieve releases her debut album, "It's Not Like Anyone's Listening." Paving the path to her music career with songs about young love, the fight for teenage independence and dogs.
