Dream Catchers
The Lone Star Wind Orchestra (LSWO) kicks off the 2017-2018 concert season on Sunday, October 15, 2017 at Moody Performance Hall in Dallas. Led by Music Director Eugene Migliaro Corporon, the LSWO dives into the realm of dreams, imagery, and inspiration. Titled Dream Catchers, the concert starts at 2:30 PM with a pre-concert talk at 2:05 PM made by the trombones of the LSWO.
"We are thrilled to be presenting this program featuring our trombones with Michael Daughertys Rosa Park Boulevard," said Director of Artistic Planning Christopher Tucker. "Maestro Eugene Migliaro Corporon has crafted a wonderful program bridging dreams with the wind band."
The Lone Star Wind Orchestra will pay tribute to the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Baileys Circus, which ended its run this past spring. Every major hall concert this season will begin with a circus march. The October 15, 2017 concert will start with Karl King's Barnum & Baileys Favorite.
