Joe Rooney with CJ Sullivan, Erica Clark, Adam Burke, and bohola
Galway Bay presents a night of comedy with headliner Joe Rooney.

(Please note: Show includes two complimentary beverages)

Known throughout Ireland for his work on TV shows such as Father Ted and Killinaskully, comedian Joe Rooney has a storied career as writer, actor (both stage and film), as well as twenty years experience as a stand up. In the latter guise he has performed and toured extensively around the world, including stints in China, the MIddle East, and across the U.K. and U.S.  With numerous appearances on British and Irish television, Rooney routinely charms audiences with his hilarious mix of observation, speculation, and musical bravura.

"Occasionally laconic, at times infectiously manic, and always riveting...one of Irelands 10 Most Wanted, when promoters nationwide pick up their phones."
-- Hotpress

"Rooney [prompted] knowing laughter from the standing-room-only audience, many of whom were hoisting pints."
-- Los Angeles Times

"Delivery plus content. Hes a smooth operator with an innate confidence..."
-- Chortle
