Opening up is Soule Monde, powerhouse funk duo and Trey Anastasio Bandmates Ray Packowski and Russ Lawton. The Nth Power are a national touring jam-band, featuring VT's own Nick Cassarino.
Called A gospel-funk blend of the sacred and the profane, the Nth Power's all-star cast includes female powerhouse Nikki Glaspie, who was Beyonces world-touring drummer for five years before she joined Ivan Nevilles New Orleans funk outfit Dumpstaphunk. Bassist Nate Edgar of Groovechild and John Browns Body perfectly compliments Singer and Guitarist Nick Cassarino who came from the Jennifer Hartswick Band and toured with Big Daddy Kane. Finally rounding off the ensemble is the newest and youngest member, Courtney J Mell Smith who brings his soulful vocals and keyboard abilities to the table.

Soule Monde are an incredible avant funk duo, and two of the members of Trey Anastasio Band. Soule Monde is avant funk erupting from the syncopated minds of power drummer Russ Lawton + B3 wizard Ray Paczkowski. An ideal union of swagger and raw talent, the duo is cemented into an indestructible pocket, where bold improvisational leaps by either player are met by a near-telepathic response from the other. This is fluid funk, crafted for the dance floor but supported by an extensive grasp of jazz improvisation.

Zenbarn is a restaurant, bar and events center with a mission to build community from soil to soul. Spend the evening with us with incredible music, food and drink.
