How to Make Your Job Search Easier (& More Fun!): Creative Edition
Are you looking to break into Portlands thriving creative job scene? Join PDX Pipeline on June 8th in the beautiful outdoor courtyard at WeWork downtown to mingle with top creative job employers and hear about the talent they are seeking. Representatives from the Portland Business Alliance, Regional Art & Culture Council, Evolve & Succeed, Portland Advertising Federation, PDX Pipeline Jobs and Boly:Welch will be in attendance!
Ticket cost includes drinks and pizza from Blackbird Pizza! Croft Vineyards will also be onsite tasting their delicious craft wines and Portland Sangria will be handing out ice cold cans of sangria!
Benefit: $2 of every ticket sold will be donated to Bradley Angle, a local nonprofit providing a continuum of supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault and their children.
Featured Speaker: The event includes a talk by B. Frayn Masters on making your creative job search simple and effective. Masters is the Creator, Executive Producer, and Host of the Back Fence PDX storytelling series and is also the PDX Producer for The Moth GrandSLAM. She was voted Best Storyteller/Spoken Word Artist for the 2015 Willamette Weeks Best Of issue. More recently, she has appeared as a regular performer in the LOFI @ HIFI variety show and fundraiser series.
