Chris Kasper & Ana Egge Trio
Enjoy an evening at Wyebrook Farm with Chris Kasper and the Anna Egge Trio.

Chris Kasper is an American songwriter with a style rooted in folk, rock and blues. His music has been compared to everything from Paul Simon to Beck, and draws on inspiration from musical greats such as Bill Withers and Levon Helm. With 25 years of playing under his belt, Chriss unique storytelling and lush arrangements, combined with his studio artistry, set him apart as a standout artist of this generation.
Based in Philadelphia, but a true road warrior at heart, the past 12 years have found Chris sharing the stage with the likes of Amos Lee, The Avett Brothers, Tristan Prettyman, Good Old War and The Wood Brothers. A solo performer to be reckoned with, Chriss collaborative spirit also lends him great strength as a bandleader. He can often be found performing with Philadelphia staples Phil DAgostino (bass), Kiley Ryan (fiddle) and Daniel Scrappy Bower (percussion).
Chris Kasper stepped into the role of producer and arranger for his 4th album, Bagabones, released October 1, 2013. The result is an album of rare depth and true originality that stands up on its own to be recognized. Bagabones was written in a small cabin owned by Chriss late uncle in West Hurley, NY, just outside the town of Woodstock. The energy of Woodstock danced its way into these songs, along with the calm of Byrdcliffe Mountain and a generous homage to Chriss musical heroes. Engineered by Matt Muir of Kawari Studios and mastered by Philly soul producer Jim Salamone (Teddy Pendergrass), this record captures a sound rarely found from a self-produced, independent artist. Kelsey Butterworth of The 9:30 Club in DC warns listeners, make room in your heart for this record and this artist. This music hits you like a train.
Bagabones is preceded by The First Hundred Years are the Hardest (2011), Chasing Another Sundown (2009), and FlyingBoy (2006).

Ana Egge
American/Canadian singer and songwriter Ana Egge is a fantastic discovery. With her guitar she built herself and raw, charismatic voice she is reminiscent of country music colleagues such as Bonnie Raitt and Lucinda Williams. The latter once called her the 'folk Nina Simone'. Now living in New York City after growing up in North Dakota and New Mexico, her music is a blend of country, Americana and city tales of modern life.

Food:
There are two options that night:
The indoor seating in our Market that night is available by reservations here and will have our normal dinner menu.  If you make a reservation, you will be inside.  You will not have to purchase a ticket but will not hear the music.
All outdoor tables will require purchased tickets for the concert.  Reservations for the concert are not required or available.  Outdoor concert seating will be available on a first come, first served basis; doors opening at 6pm.  We will offer table service (with waitstaff) for our seated guests in our courtyard, under the pavilion, and in overflow seating down below the wall near the stage.  We will be featuring a special, limited menu prepared only for our Summer Starlight Concert Series.  Limited lawn seating will be available- guests are encouraged to bring a blanket or chair.  As always, Wyebrook is a BYOB but outside food is NOT permitted for this event.

Parking: We will open one of our pastures for parking, handicap parking available located closer to the Market. Valid handicap parking permit is required.

Dogs: You are welcome to bring your dog to Wyebrook Farm, but we do require that your dog is friendly, on a leash at all times and that you pick up after them.

Children:  Because we have a very limited amount of seats for these concerts, children are welcome but everyone over 5 will need a ticket.

Weather:  We will do our best to keep the shows on because most of the bands are traveling a good distance to come play at Wyebrook. However, in the event of a cancelation due to severe weather, purchased tickets will be refunded.
