Five years ago "The Looney bin" was designed as Whakko Entertainment's premiere event. This would start a tradition that is going on its sixth installment. Guaranteed to go all night, The Looney Bin is a place where you can get a little whakky. From such venues as Sports Rock (CT), Afterlife (CT), Toads Place (CT), and Therapy (RI) to the underground at Area 808. Whakko Entertainment has brought you Looney Bin headliners such as Parallax, Monoverse, XDREAM, and now {WE} present... GLD.

GLD:
GLD is NYC based electronic music duo
out to push boundaries and bring parties to wherever the go.
Jake and Matt met and started producing while working with various bands and their relatonship eventually evolved into the project now known as GLD.
In less than a year as a duo, the grew a strong fanbase and support from many big artist including DJ Snake, Diplo, Skrilllex, Flosstradamus, and many others.
Determined to grow and build, the two are set out to break away from the conventional DJ set and make music that pushes the boundaries of being an " electronic music producer"

Wubson is a lovable monster that has a massive, playful sound and an emotional connection with crowds like none other in the underground. Wubson's versatile combination of over-the-top energy, smooth technique and raw originals is just as Hardcore Punk as it is Booty Ratchet. Wubson is grateful to have played alongside many of the world's biggest names in Dance Music & Hip-Hop including Bassnectar, Feed Me, Datsik, Zeds Dead, Cypress Hill, Flux Pavillion, Rusko, Dada Life, Afroman and countless more on some of America's biggest stages including Burning Man, SxSw, Moonrise and more. His upcoming releases on indie labels Mosh Squad, Columns of Knowledge and PSILY Music are sure to tear the roof off of any venue this summer.
