The Happy Fits with MAITA

The Happy Fits:

After the success of their debut EP, Awfully Apeelin' (2016) The Happy Fits are finally taking their music to the West Coast.

Their first single "While You Fade Away" made it to the #5 spot on Spotify's Viral Top 50 USA Chart and #17 on Spotify's Viral Top 50 Global Chart.

Since then, they have been invited to play showcases for many record labels including Elektra Records in NYC, and they have also won the Young Artist Award at the 33rd Mid-Atlantic Songwriting Contest. Their debut EP has been streamed over 2.3 million times on Spotify and Apple Music respectively.

Portland will be the seventh show on the "Happy West Coast," tour and the guys look forward to sharing new music with you all, as well as playing songs off of the Extended Play.

Make sure to bring your dancing shoes and be prepared for a night of pure positivity and amazing music.

MAITA:

Portland indie-folk songstress MAITAs "focused, American realist psalm...sets her far apart from her indie contemporaries (American Standard Time). Her debut EP Waterbearer, is a rallying cry for the quiet warrior, the inquisitive seeker and the fierce lover. The record, produced by Matthew Zeltzer, and mixed by John Askew (Neko Case), witnesses an extraordinary talent on the verge, on which she is honored to be joined by Dave Depper (Death Cab for Cutie, Loch Lomond), Skip VonKuske (Portland Cello Project), Tucker Jackson (The Minus 5, The Delines), and Matthew Berger (Laura Gibson).

MAITA has recently been sharpening her songs on the road, playing 120 showsincluding a month-long European tourin 2016 alone. She has kicked off 2017 with album release tours that have already taken her down the West Coast and to Europe for a month-long tour supported by ROLA Music.
