Faery Queens & Siren Songs: S. J. Tucker & Betsy Tinney at the Sacred Well PDX
Join us as we welcome singer-songwriter extraordinaire S. J. Tucker and her powerful, hypnotic, soul stirring songs, together with cellist Betsy Tinney, whose work has been called reminiscent of dark chocolate and fine red wine. Feast your ears! The elegant cellist and the witchy pixie bard join forces once again in Portland for an intimate concert in honor of S. J.'s birthday, on the evening of February 22nd, 2017.

S. J. Tucker came flying out of her home community in Memphis, Tennessee in 2004, guitar in hand, and her feet have hardly hit the ground since. Betsy Tinney is a beloved PNW performer, known for her immersive and magical work on the cello. Folk, Pagan, Blues, Rock, Celtic, Gospel, Geek, Jazz, Punk, Opera, Goth-industrial: all of these types of music share space in S. J. & Betsy's combined work, and their varied elements are bound together by masterful lyrical storytelling! No two of their concerts are the same, but S. J. and Betsy's skill, presence and desire for connection with their audience consistently shine from every stage they cross. It's clear to each audience that these two vibrant women are the best of friends, and they are proud to contribute to the soundtrack of life in the most whimsical of ways.
