This is a very intimate venue, so tickets will be extremely limited. If you aren't able to get a ticket, we will be looking for a few volunteers to make the event run a bit more smoothly. And you can always donate directly to the cause instead! (If you do, let us know below so we can keep track of how much we raise!)

THE SERIOUS STUFF:
There is a camp called Oceti Sakowin in Cannonball, North Dakota. Right now, there is an unprecedented gathering of indigenous peoples there the likes of which hasn't been seen since the Battle at the Little Big Horn. Water protectors have gathered there in peaceful and prayerful protest to halt the advancement of the Dakota Access pipeline, which will poison the water supply of everyone downstream from it if it fails. And it very likely will.
The water protectors are in need of our help. They have been assaulted by police. They have been attacked by dogs. They have been pepper sprayed. They have had the bones of their ancestors literally bulldozed out of the ground. And, as usual, their sovereignty has yet again been violated, not to mention the treaty of 1851. They need help, and we are going to answer their call.
All proceeds from this event, including food and drink sales, ticket sales, and part of the profits from art sold, will go directly to the Standing Rock Sioux tribe.
