Beata Virgo celebrates the music of medieval Christmastime in a meditative concert. In this immersive program, the women of La Caccina use medieval chant and polyphony to pay homage to women across the centuries, from composer and Saint Hildegard von Bingen, to the nuns who were vessels of her music, to the Blessed Virgin of the concerts title. Amid the beautiful acoustics of the Shrine, their voices will transport audiences back in time. "We look forward to sharing an evening of musical tranquility with you this season."
