Keelan Donovan Presents: "Home for the Holidays"
Keelan Donovan presents the 5th Annual "Home for the Holidays" at The Landing at Pine Point in Scarborough, ME. This year Keelan returns home to play at one of Maine's most beautiful venues to get us all ready for the holiday season. In years previous, Keelan has performed at venues such as Portland's House of Music (H.O.M.E.), One Longfellow Square, and Asylum. Growing in attendance each year, the shows always end up being a night we can all remember. It's always a party, and this year is no different.
Since he last played in Maine, Keelan signed a deal with Big Yellow Dog Music, where artists such as Meghan Trainor, Maren Morris & Jessie James Decker also call Big Yellow Dog Music home. He is set to release his new self-titled EP, produced by production team Daniel Tashian & Dan Agee. We all know Keelan & his sincere lyrics, and likable sense of humor, but with the new EP, he has hopes to reach is broadest audience yet.
Along with signing his first deal, Keelan has had cuts on TV show's on ABC (Nashville), the Syfi Network (Killjoys) & a number of upcoming independent films. His stage presence, and how comfortable he is on stage comes by no mistake. Last year, Keelan played over 200 shows around the globe, playing in 47 states & 4 different countries, doing his best to take his music to the next level.
Keelan, now finding his bearings in Nashville, TN, writes songs that are able to captivate fans of all ages. Keelan writes with a depth beyond his years without pining like a man 30 years his senior. He's lamenting for us all, older and younger, with smiles, honesty, charm, and voice you can listen to all night. At the 5th Annual Home for the Holidays, he hopes to convey his passion for music & songwriting to all who come to listen, dance, and sing along.
Coming along with him is college friend and singer-songwriter Matthew Wright. Wright is a artist based in Nashville, Tennessee. Born and raised in Georgia, Matthew spent his childhood making up songs, playing piano and organ in church, and listening to Billy Joel. While in school at Belmont University in Nashville, he began recording his first album Adams Son which was released in December of 2013. Drawing on a diverse range of influences, Adams Son is a dynamic picture of the highs and lows of growing up in a world full of questions. Matthew loves being able to share intimate stories with people whether its gathered around his living room piano or on stage with a band of close friends. Matthew will be releasing a new EP late this year, produced and engineered in Nashville with Austin Atwood.
