CLASSICAL CAFE
Throughout history, artists have banded together to provide each other with mutual support and creative inspiration. The composers of Les Six: Auric, Durey, Milhaud, Honegger, Poulenc and Tailleferre often appeared on the same programs and occasionally composed together. This Classical Café session will give an overview of their friendship and their music, as well as how they were influenced by their mentor, Erik Satie. Holly Roadfeldt will be performing music by Satie on the Cultural Crossroads Concert Le Cabaret at The Music School of Delaware on October 23, 2016.
