An Evening in France
From the time New York began, New Yorkers were eager to get a taste of France- from the patisseries which lined the streets of lower Manhattan to the French imports New Yorkers longed to have. Elite French Tutoring-takes you on a private after hours tour to see many of the French-made objects in the Mount Vernon Hotel collection and to hear about the French influence on New York during the time we were a young, growing city. There will be a tour conducted in French and English followed by a garden reception featuring a special performance by celebrated harpist Melanie Genin and a mouth watering "gouter" of French products.
