That 70's Show: Smith College Montage 2016
Saturday, October 22nd marks Smith College's annual Family Weekend Montage Concert. The Smith College Choirs, Orchestra, Wind and Jazz Ensembles, Handbell Choir, and student a cappella groups will be performing music characteristic of the seventies - come to hear a variety of genres from disco to rock, and songs by artists Stevie Wonder, Earth, Wind & Fire, Billy Joel, Bruce Springsteen and more!
The Smith College Choirs and Orchestra are directed by Jonathan Hirsh and Amanda Huntleigh. The Jazz Ensemble is directed by Genevieve Rose, and the Wind Ensemble is directed by Ellen Redman. The acapella groups are directed by members of the student body. Each of the groups has a diverse repertoire; a few favorite genres include western classical, modern pop, jazz, and bluegrass.
Montage 2016, That 70s Show, will take place in John M. Greene Hall, located at 70 Elm Street on Smith College Campus. The show will begin at 4:00 PM on Saturday, October 22th.
Advance tickets are $7 for general admission, and $2 for Smith College students.
Tickets will be sold for $10 general admission and $5 for Smith students in the Smith College Campus Center on Friday, October 21 from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and Saturday, October 22 from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
Tickets will also be available at the door for $10 general admission and $5 for Smith students, starting at 3:30 PM.
