Westside Peace Festival
Westside Peace Festival - The Westside Peace Festival is a benefit concert - an all-day event on Saturday, August 27th, 2016. Raised funds will support a tour titled Veterans as Authors and Advocates for Peace, that will visit universities/colleges/schools across S CA in the fall of 2016.
The purpose of the tour and the benefit concert supporting it is to encourage public dialogue about peace, to increase awareness about our need for peace, and to inspire people, especially younger people, to work for peace and justice. About the Veteran Speakers on the Tour - The veterans touring are Blase Bonpane, S. Brian Willson, Nicole Waybright and Paul K. Chappell. These veterans are volunteering their services free of charge for this two week tour in the fall. The tour is non-profit and is being operated by volunteers.
