Napa Helps Fiji
Cyclone Winston, a Category 5 cyclone, hit Fiji on February 20,2016 destroying 55,000 homes, killing 44 people. Navuloa, a small village on the western side of Ovalau, suffered unthinkable damage---only four homes remained standing.
Jake Kuruleca, a native of Navuloa, came to Napa Valley to take care of his dad and ended up being a saint to our friend James Heinemann, who passed after a long struggle. Jake made that struggle not only bearable, but a life transforming experience for James.
This benefit is a little token of our appreciation to Jake to help rebuild his village.
Traditional Fijian fire dancers, live music, silent auction, traditional art from Fiji, roast pig, curry, veggies, and a full bar. Ticket price includes food and entertainment. No host bar, all proceeds go directly to the village of Navuloa residents and 10% to a local St. Helena charity.
