DEAD ROCKSTAR SING-A-LONG CLUB
Dead Rockstar Sing-A-Long Club, our debut Rec Room production, is an original performance piece that pays tribute to two great music icons who died this past year: David Bowie and Prince. Part concert and part theatre, the show weaves together a string of visual images that delve into the dynamics of public grief on social media vs. actual grief. The text is a mélange of Prince/Bowie music and lyrics, excerpts from Greek tragedy and various tweets that tell a magical story.
