The Carousal II
The Carousal (Denver's premier variety show) is back! This installment features established comedy and music acts Third Curd and The Solid Ocean (respectively), as well as gems Offbrand and Tommy & Gabby (from Tommy Freed and the Sound) gracing the stage at Beryl's.

THIRD CURD - Chris Woolf and Mark Shonsey perform their two-person, long-form, comedic improvisation! High energy character driven improv that will not only entertain you, but might just blow your mind... or at least your evening! Third Curd! Ya heard? Word!
THE SOLID OCEAN - The Solid Ocean is a power pop band from Denver, Colorado. At the surface, the name of the band represents the view of the Rocky Mountains while looking down from the sky, but when you begin to peel back the different layers, the name itself reflects an emotional shift in the lives of each of it's members. As their music explores the concepts of love, identity, happiness, and acceptance, The Solid Ocean moniker is not only representative of the beautiful Rocky Mountains the band calls home, but also the importance of having a strong foundation amidst the chaos of everyday life. As the band continues to write and produce emotionally mature music, they not only grow as a group, but as individuals trying to make their way through life as young adults in a crazy world.

GABBY & TOMMY (from Tommy Freed & the Sound) - Tommy Freed and the Sound spend most of their time on the outskirts of the American rock canon, developing a sound personified by a certain violent optimism. The group blends rock n roll, soul and R&B with the alternative music they grew up with to arrive at a place that's still not entirely defined. And with the release of their debut record "Come On Shining" in July of 2015, they've marked "Point A" in the journey of an ever evolving catalogue.
