Rock Hill Cabaret Presents our Summer Voices Series!

Join us this summer for two incredible nights of music.

On Friday July 8 at 7pm hear the luscious voices of SUSAN ZELINSKY and TYLER MCKENNA in a rare, concert appearance. These two beloved Mountain Play favorites team up for a delightful evening of songs to enchant and entertain you. Accompanied by Scott DeTurk on piano.

On Saturday July 16 at 7pm enjoy amazing performances by powerhouse vocalists JENNIFER MITCHELL and PATRICK LEVEQUE. Accompanied by Carl Oser on piano.

Rock Hill Cabaret is an intimate performance space with sweeping views of the bay, the Golden Gate Bridge and Mt. Tam.

Artist Bios

Patrick Leveque has been singing and generally making noise in Marin County for most of his life. Raised in Marin County, Patrick received a Master of Music degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. Locally, Patrick has performed at Marin Theater Company, Broadway By the Bay, Willows Theater, American Musical Theater of San Jose, Marin Shakespeare, Pocket Opera, 42nd Street Moon, the Mountain Play, Davies Symphony Hall, Society Cabaret in SF, the Marin Civic Center, the Golden State Theater in Monterey and the Throckmorton in Mill Valley.Patrick was part of the original cast of The Phantom of the Opera in Las Vegas, playing Raoul. When Patrick is not making making his own vocal ruckus, he is helping others to do so as he currently teaches voice in Mill Valley, at Dominican University and in the MFA program at ACT in San Francisco. Tyler McKenna appeared most recently in Venus in Fur (Thomas) with Marin Onstage/Sonoma Arts Live, and Moments of Truth (Gerald Browne) with 3Girls Theatre Company, for which he received a BATCC nomination. Other recent credits: Something for the Boys (Rocky Fulton) and Do I Hear a Waltz? (Renato De Rossi) at 42 nd Street Moon, Annie Get Your Gun (Frank Butler) as a Guest Artist with Napa Valley Conservatory Theater, and A Little Princess (Captain Crewe) at Berkeley Playhouse. Other work includes productions with Symmetry Theatre Company, The Mountain Play, Marin Shakespeare Company, and American Conservatory Theater. Tyler is a graduate of the American Conservatory Theater MFA program.

Jennifer Mitchell, a Bay Area native, is an active performer in both opera and musical theatre and is delighted to be making her cabaret debut! Her credits include Oklahoma! (Laurey) at Broadway by the Bay, Master Class (Sophie) at Jewel Theater Company, Le nozze di Figaro (Barbarina) at Opera San José, The Light in the Piazza (Clara  SFBATCC nomination) and Carousel (Julie) at Spreckels Theatre Company, Wheres Charley? (Kitty Verdun) and The Boy Friend (Polly Browne  SFBATCC nomination) at 42 nd Street Moon, Così fan tutte (Despina) at Pocket Opera, Les Misérables (Cosette) at Woodminster Summer Musicals, Fiddler on the Roof (Tzeitel) at Cinnabar Theater, Die Fledermaus (Ida) at Lamplighters Music Theatre, and La traviata (Annina) at Livermore Valley Opera. Susan Zelinsky appeared in PETER PAN at the Mountain Play, INTO THE WOODS at Spreckles Performing Arts Center, and LOVE SONGS at College of Marin earlier this season. Favorite roles include Maria in WEST SIDE STORY, Eliza Doolittle in MY FAIR LADY, Thelma Von Tussle in HAIRSPRAY, and MLynn in STEEL MAGNOLIAS. Also a director, this year she directed ALICE IN WONDERLAND, SCHOOLHOUSE ROCK LIVE, and THE HAPPY LANE CABARET, at Sun Valley Elementary School, San Rafael. This October, Susan will produce her 18th annual event, WINE, WOMEN & SONG: Benefits for the Fight Against Breast Cancer, which she founded after her mother was diagnosed with breast cancer. Susan enjoys teaching piano and drama, as well as singing the National Anthem with her two daughters, most recently on Memorial Day, at the Marin Veterans Memorial Auditorium.
